Ok. I listen to a podcast called True Murder. A good podcast. But I think the last episode I listened to was a bit to much.

You can listen to it here.

They had an author on claiming he found the killer (or criminal) behind:

Jon Bennet Ramsey
Adam Walsh
The West Memphis 3 kids
The Atlanta Child Murders
The Zodiac murders
Martha Moxley (the Kennedy nephew that was charged)
Chandra Levy
2001 Anthrax letters
Kent Heitholt (Ryan Ferguson went to prison for it)
Lacy Petersen

Anyway. This got more ridiculous as I tried to come up with a list the author claimed EWE was responsible for.

Has anyone else heard of these claims?

Here is the authors website.

I remember reading a book(title escapes me) that maintained that the Cleveland Torso Murders, The Black Dahlia, The Texarkana Moonlight Murders(The Phantom) and The Zodiac(CA not NYC) were ALL committed by THE SAME MAN!!! It stretches credulity to say the least. That's a good 30+ year span.

I've been reading more about this and it's hilarious. I can't tell if this writer is serious or not. He has Edwards start killing at age 12 in Chicago, the Suzanne Degnan case before making it out to L.A. the following year to kill the Black Dahlia. If any of you are not familiar with that case suffice to say a 13 yr. old probably couldn't pull it off. Basically every major murder was committed by this guy. Not only that but he set others up to take the fall for him. He was a serial killing savant. Who went to jail on a bank robbing charge.

The American crime rate would've been zero if he was strangled in his crib. Is what the guy who's trying to sell a book wants you to believe.

Yeah. It has to be nuts. I just like the host of the show. He lent the guy a bit of credibility. I just thought maybe he murdered a few of them.

It's great stuff. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. As far as Kuh-ray-zee goes it's up there with the guy that thinks Hitler is a fictional character played by Kermit Roosevelt and Jim Morrison faked his death before reappearing as Chevy Chase.

Is it possible? Sure, for some of them. But it's not bloody likely. There's no real hard and fast universal rules for serial killers(aside from they kill people) but this Ed Edwards is just all over the map of M.O.s.

The 2001 anthrax attacks were mostly likely committed by Bruce Edwards Ivins. Many experts doubt this, and he committed suicide before he could be indicted, so I have no doubt that Cameron saw the word "Edwards" in his name, saw that there was dissent at the government's belief and conspiracy theories about his death, and decided to make **** up so he can get more attention and money.

He "also" killed the wife of Dr. Sam Sheppard, the inspiration for The Fugitive. Yep.

Y'see, it's the misspelling of Santa "Clause" on his website that makes me believe him.

HAhaha. Every time I look into it further I hear a new name. I looked up his book on Amazon to read the reviews..... I lol'd at.

There is a lot in this book that seems impossible to believe (such as the Ramsey and Hoffa claims), but there are also connections that you can't really deny (such as the fact that Edwards actually did know Jimmy Hoffa quite well).

But I keep going back. Did he really know Hoffa? Or anyone else on that list? If the author could prove a bunch of that stuff.... maybe I will look into it further.
