Hello,

I would like to proof, that the high potency homeopathic remedies (D30) have a measurable impact on the temperature regulations of humans.

The method I will use is called computer regulation thermograpy, which is able to show the regulation of the temperature on various points on a body.

If someone feels dizzy (e.g. circulation problems due to low blood pressure or or after a shock or after a surgery, etc.), the computer regulation thermograph will show a temperature difference between the Glabella (which is located in the middle of the forehead) and the root of the nose.

If I then give a high homeopathic remedy, in this case because of the dizziness it would be veratum album, you will see that the difference in temperature will decrease shortly (in between minutes, e.g. 10 minutes)
after the homeopathic remedy was taken under the tongue of the person with the temperature gap. Normally this process will take in between minutes.

The proof is done when the temperature gap between the Glabella and root of the nose decreased more than 50% between the measurement taken before and some minutes after the homeopathic remedy was taken.

To show this effect very clearly the people in the test must be healthy (e.g. no high blood pressure, no diabetes, etc.) and must not take antibiotics, corticoides, zytostatica, beta blockers and other very strong medicine which are known to have major negative impact on the regulation of our bodies.

Sincerely,

Edith Rothermel

Application Accepted

Dear Ms. Rothermel,

Thank you for your JREF Challenge application and claim letter.

Your application has been processed and accepted.

I have contacted Dr. Martin Mahner of GWUP (www.gwup.org) in an effort to arrange preliminary testing. It is with he that you would be required to confirm your proposed test protocol. You may email him directly at mahner@gwup.org and begin the process.

We ask that you be patience in this matter, and to please understand that this part of the Challenge process can sometimes be annoyingly slow. I assure you that I will make all efforts to see that your claim is tested as soon as possible.

Your notarized application, signed by James Randi, will be returned to you once a test protocol has been agreed upon and a test date and location has been determined.

Also, if you have an email address through which we might reach you, it would certainly help to expedite matters. Please respond via email, if you can.

Thanks and GOOD LUCK!
