DVD Playback

I put a DVD player/burner in my rig some time ago, mostly for installing games.

This is actually the first time I have tried to play a commercial DVD on the thing; I got copy of Springsteen's Seeger Sessions which includes a DVD video.

Won't play on any of my players, including Nero (which came with the thing) Windows Media, or Real.
I installed a MPEG2 codec, but still no go.

What do I need to run these current DVDs? A different player (the Nero number wants me to pay for the upgraded version)

I find PowerDVD to be the easiest. I used to like WinDVD, but the last version I used was supremely flaky. If you have Vista, WiMP will play it.
