Dubai Address hotel fire

I have no idea where this post should go, so I started a new thread. Regardless of where it should go, this is relevant to the collapses of WTC 1, 2 and 7 because they are all steel-framed high-rise buildings.

So, right now the building is on fire. It appears the fire is spreading rapidly. It is dark, but the flames are highlighting the structure. Although the pictures are limited, it does not appear that any of the supporting structure is melting, sagging, or weakening. It does not look like there is any deformation of any kind.

Let's just see how long the fire lasts, what it takes to put it out, and what the building looks like after this is over.

Listen to eyewitness reports. Watch closely. Listen for the sounds of explosions. Observe everything.

CNN is talking to an eyewitness named Jaqueline Hurtado who said she heard an explosion before the fire started. She said it sounded like a loud pop. Fire is extremely fast moving.

Correction: The eyewitness just now said the fire may have caused the popping sound.

The Daily Mail is reporting that:

Ali Al Mutawa, of Dubai's Civil Defence, told 7Days UAE: 'We have controlled 65 per cent of the fire in the hotel and no casualties have been seen so far after evacuating the hotel.'

The fire, which is only on the outside of the building, started on the 20th floor.


Obviously it must be a false flag attack by Geedubya and Tricky Dick Cheney to discredit the Dubai New Years celebrations.

Is there any active fire fighting?
 
I have not heard of anything about firefighting efforts. CNN is not talking about that. If anyone is watching another network, please let us know what they are saying.

The purpose of this thread is not to make conclusions of any kind, even though yours are obviously in jest. Everyone involved in the 9/11 debate should be watching this and paying attention to everything. We can make conclusions later.

There is much active firefighting according to media reports and the fire seems largely contained to the exterior on one side of the building only.

It is being fought and they have evacuated the area as a precaution. Seem they think steel could fail.
 
CNN is reporting that Dubai media says the fire is not spreading internally because of the fire suppression system.
 
The building is obviously coated with a thin layer of nano-thermite, let's hope they look for microspheres when the fire is extinguished.

Apparently the fire spread from the bottom to the top in five minutes :eek:
 
CNN reports via eyewitness Becky Anderson that four firefighting teams are on site working the fire. Fire broke out on the 20th floor. No casualties.

Apparently the building was setup with lights and pyrotechnics for a New Years display. This is what went up. Hopefully it gets contained and can't spread inside.

I wonder what it is clad with ? I would like to think sprinklers are working.

The fire started on the patio and engulfed the entire building in around 5mins
