Drudge has a headline, "Mysterious signals from 1000 light years away..." which links to new scientist.

Only New Scientist is down.

I guess it is more fun this way. I can imagine it is much cooler than it really is.

This just in,
Mysterious signals decoded to prove that that God, Creationism, psychics, homeopathy, alien abduction and everything else paranormal are all real. Employees at New Scientist repent and turn away from the lies they thought represented real science and immediately cease operations.

New Scientist is working OK for me now.

Apparently the alien message reads: "Can you keep the noise down please?".

Excellent!
Actually, it's not that good a show. It's airs way too often, and the jokes might have played well in the sticks a thousand years ago and a thousand light years away, but the humor doesn't stand up to the test of time.

And Gnorack is actually kind of annoying.

"I'm not sure what I'm watching, but I'm sure its really, really wrong."

So this is like proof that the I in Intelligent Design is an alien race from another planet?

Cool.
