According to zealous, religious alarmists...I mean, "concerned environmenalist with nothing but the best of intentions and all of modern science on their side," the drought being suffered in Georgia (USA) and environs is directly attributable to anthropomorphic Global Warming (AGW).
We know this because in that area, nothing of the sort...HAS EVER HAPPENED BEFORE!!!
Well...not so much.
In fact, it turns out that the current drought is not as bad as the one in 1954, well before the time (1970s) when AGW priests say that human(mostly America) industry began changing climate for all time.
This year, the Atlanta, GA region saw 31.85 inches of precip (rain). In the 1954 drought, it was 31.80 inches.
Of course members of the First Church of Global Warming (orthodox) have all sorts of excuses, and will respond to this post by shrieking, "links!!? LIIIIIINNNKKKKKSSSSSS!!!??" and if none are provided will conclude that it's lies, all LIIIIIIEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!
But it's not.
The Global Warming-caused drought in Georgia this year is not as severe as the one in 1954. The one TODAY is caused (the consensus is in) by Global Warming, and is an indicator that we'd better shut down the US economy if we want to save our Mother, the Earth.
The worse drought in 1954 was caused by um...well, it doesn't matter and stop talking about it unless you want to burn heretic...BUUUUURRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!
