I had a conversation ages ago with someone and eventually I was asked about dowsing. Out came the metal stick things, blah blah baloney...
Anyway, I kinda left the conversation not really worried about it (I hear stranger stuff every day), but one thing was mentioned that I've jut this minute remembered.
Apparently, the water board engineers carry dowsing rods in their vans.
At the time I inwardly smirked and just thought "yeah, ok" and moved on, but it got me thinking, is this urban myth? Is it true? Is there any evidence?
I can't find anything (yet, I'm narrowing down on Google), but I thought some of you may already of heard of this perhaps and know the origin?
