You forgot the Planet X possibility.Possibility #1: ABC removes someone sleeping from their camera shot because they secretly endorse Edwards and don't want him to look bad.
Possibility #2: ABC removed him because, well, having someone sleeping on camera makes ABC look bad.
You forgot the Planet X possibility.
How does it make ABC look bad?
I don't see how it makes ABC look bad either. It's not like he fell asleep watching ABC. He fell asleep while ABC was watching him.Er...You can't see how having someone fall asleep on their TV program makes them look bad?
I honestly have no idea how to respond to that.
Is this supposed to be a news program? Or is it entertainment?Er...You can't see how having someone fall asleep on their TV program makes them look bad?

I haven't seen the video; was the guy asleep from the get-go?How is it with the "connivance" of ABC News? ABC rolled the camera. It had some guy snoozing in the background. It was a live feed. The most reasonable assumption is that someone in the Edwards campaign saw the guy snoozing, and ran and woke him up and told him to get off camera.
It's a gaffe, not a conspiracy.
If ABC was conspiring, they would have told the Edwards campaign to get the snoozer off the stage before the cameras began rolling.
There's a Top Ten list on this going on in the Humor forum right now.
It's only been up there a few minutes. The TT writers will come up with a lot of funny theories, have no doubt. I just got the easiest one out of the way. That you started.
eta: and, as of this writing, no one else has replied to. Apparently, only you and News Busters think this is a story.
That's weird. The time stamp reads 7:04 AM (CST) with the last edit at 7:08 AM. That's two hours ago, by my clock. It's only been up there a few minutes.
No, that's about right - okay, so it was more than "a few minutes." So shoot me. The previous TT list took almost four days to complete. That's weird. The time stamp reads 7:04 AM (CST) with the last edit at 7:08 AM. That's two hours ago, by my clock.
