...On Memes?

What do you guys think? Possible? Unlikely? Misunderstood?

I'm sort of at a confliction at the moment about Dennett's work with them. Dawkins doesn't seem to be exposing the same sophistication or depth.

Try The Meme Machine by Susan Blackmore. She follows many of the same lines as Dennett, but takes it in some different directions.

There was recently a long thread on memes. I'd dredge it up, but right now couldn't be bothered. Do a quick search. I think most of the 'meme versus no meme' people here are somewhat tired out after that discussion. But I might be wrong.

Is it the meme like a qualia or a meme as a thought construct that you wish to discuss?

The cool thing is that our brain doesn't totaly store memory. it also makes it up.

10rca, do you think you thread would have gotten better response if it had "Meme" in the title?

Was it Minnie Pearl who started each comic routine with "let's talk" ersumpthin? Joan Rivers ? Both?

Your title makes you sound like a lonely heart, trolling the net for some comapnionship. My thoughts "Are you REALLY a 14 year old girl? Or do you just play one on the net?"
