Dylan Avery attempts to prove...something...in his analysis of a video, and inadvertently ends up disproving "freefall speed". Discovered by XXX:
"His shot begins approximately one second into the collapse....From 12 seconds until the debris begins hitting the ground, Christian's camera and tape continue to glitch, even though there is no major vibration until the debris hits the ground, as confirmed by the Lamont Doherty seismic observations."

So if it starts a second in, and debris start hitting the ground after 12 seconds in, does that mean that the whole "free fall in 10 seconds" thing is done?

So, by Do-Over's estimation, the first debris hit the ground some time after thirteen seconds into the collapse.

D'oh!

Actually Dylan is referring to the time from the start of the video, not the start of his clip.

According to my estimates, the first frame of his video is #203 at 00:00:06.773, the frame where the major external section debris disappears from the bottom of the video is #459 at 00:00:15.315 or ~8.5s, which is incidentally what i calculated as freefall time for the top 14 stories of WTC1.

For comparison, by the time the dust cloud reaches direct sunlight we are at frame #539 at 00:00:17.985.

This video doesn't provide any solid estimates of collapse time unfortunately because the debris I referred to earlier passes at least 1/4 the tower's height which is still intact at the time.

What does show an accurate time is the Naudet footage- and the footage outside from the first collapse. (The one the conspiracists have attempted to add explosions to)

I compare those videos about half-way through my "Debunking Conspiracists" video, but I wish I would have just done it separately. I'm amazed how many conspiracists continue to try to claim the freefall myth... well, to be honest- it's kind of crucial to their story, but still.

It's irrefutable.
