Do not eat iPod shuffle

Available as ointment AND suppository.

I especially like the way they compensate away the lack of a user interface by having it just play stuff at random. Random acts of selection is software are usually signs of bad programming. Here? It's a feature.

I was rather annoyed at the ommission of a screen on the iPod Shuffle, I personaly would hate to either listen to the song that the software picks (bad sign) or scroll through up to 120 songs to get to it. (I am not sure if there is a way to group or otherwise organise songs)

Screens seem to be a feature on even the lowest end of the MP3 players

You could use the Shuffle feature, or you can make a playlist to go on the iPod, like with all the other iPods.

Doesn't sound like bad programming to me. Sounds like the usual Apple approach: giving the users what they want.

Ok, after a looking at the shuffle a bit more, it looks like you can have multiple playlists, and I understand that you can also sort your songs.

Not bad, I ahve to admit that out of the about 500 songs I have on my ipod, i probably regularly listen to less the 200, so this would be a good product for those who dont want to spend too much time fiddeling with the player. (I mostly use mine skiing, so I just set it to a playlist and forget it)
