Just an interesting and depressing note. I was looking at our state (California) DMV (motor vehicles) physical exam form that people need to pass to drive in a civil service capacity. What caught my eye for the first time was the section where I had to check what kind of practitioner I was. The options included physician (MD or DO), nurse practitioner, physician assistant, and chiropractor! This for a form dealing with basic vision, urine screen, and multisystem physical exam.

Oh, the humanity!
