So I'm watching Holmes on Homes episode 66, 'For Anne', original air date 02-09-06 (Season 5), and they've got some guy from a place called SANITECH who finds buried pipes by DOWSING.

Mike Holmes is normally a pretty hard-headed guy. I'm surprised that he could buy into the myth of dowsing.

How can professionally licensed people get away with this? You would think that people wouldn't be able to be bonded if they used dowsing. Someone want to offer the JREF Challenge to Mike Holmes?

Little metal sticks. Sanitech may not be famous enough. Mike Holmes has a TV show and endorsed dowsing.

I think Mike Holmes would at least be willing to admit he's wrong. He's strikes me as an honest man. He might even be willing to issue a retraction on his show; after all, his show is about fixing the messes that other people leave.

Looked here to see if there was a listing for SANITECH and there isn't. The episode is "For Annie" (Season 5, episode 5). Following this link, I do see photo 35 that has a man that appears to be dowsing. #36 has Mike "dowsing". I'll see if I can Tivo it, but without watching the episode and without knowing who hired the dowser, there's not much we (you and I) can talk about.

I saw that episode. Sent an email to the address on the show's website. Never got a reply.
