Apparently the kindly Nunes family of California dairy farmers are actually Iowa dairy farmers, something that Nunes and his whole family kinda keep out of the public eye.

I was going to put this into the mid-term elections thread but it's got so much meat to it that it could take over that thread. It's a lengthy article but just the salient points:

> Nunes' family moved the dairy farm over a decade ago. One cousin or uncle still has a place in CA but the family operation is in Iowa.
> Nothing really wrong with that but the secrecy, which originally sounded to me like mere optics, was puzzling enough that the reporter went into a lengthy investigation.
> The family farm is, ironically, in Steve King's district.
> Steve King's district, astonishingly, thrives on undocumented alien workers! (Including, apparently, the Nunes family spread!)

There's a lot more to the article, which seems very fair in my admittedly biased view.
 
IF you want to train an A.I. to detect Washington Swamp Creatures, Nunes is a good start for the data set.

I hope someday there will be video of Nunes and Trump on Porn Hub. Guy on guy isn't really my taste but I'd watch it just for the novelty of seeing a member of Congress with a Russian whore.

Nunes is shady? Knock me over with a feather. Who would have guessed the congressman that has most tried to protect Trumpenfuher would be shady?

I think the real question here is to Steve King.
"Why does Iowa require illegal immigrants to move the economy, yet you are a hard core supporter of strict illegal immigration laws?"

Nunes is much more lax on illegal immigration than Steve King. Does Nunes own any of the Iowa farm? Or does his father still own it? The only thing I see that paints Devin Nunes poorly is his use of the old Biography that claims his family still runs a dairy in CA. That is pretty minor shadiness on a politician scale.
 
Its almost like all the hysteria over "illegals" has no basis in reality and was less about jobs and crime and more about giving white folks some brown people to be mad at.

Not sure I disagree with you on this point, but that highlighted part is more or less damning with faint praise, surely.

I only saw his father donating 250.00 to his campaign.

What campaign financing do you see in the article that I might have missed?
