I am fortunate : I hang up immediately on machine political calls, Waste Republican callers time as much as posiible and then tell them as politely as possible (given the subject) what I think of
shrub and of them for wasting my time trying to get me to vote for rectums like him. Democrats get the explanation that I vote straight Democrat since 2000 (no functional alternative party candidates here) and voted early for them.

I thought something was a bit odd when I got this call from John McCain last week:

"Good evening you redneck piece of filth. I'm Senator John McCain and before you attempt to open that toothless gaping hole of yours, I want to let you know that this message has been pre-recorded, you witless inbred retard. I just wanted to let you know that next Tuesday is election day, so if you have time between ******* your sheep and eating your moonpies while playing the banjo with your monkey-like hand feet, perhaps you can make yourself useful for one time in your life and vote for your local Republican candidate. Also, I thought you should know that I ************, *********, and *********** your mother/sister last night for 5 hours, finally ********* ***** ******** ** **** *** **** that pimple infested speedbump she calls a face. Please tell her she still owes me $500.00. I'll come to collect if I have to.

Thanks again and remember, you're a pathetic waste of life, space, even air and will never ammount to anything. I'd kill you myself right now to put you out of your misery if I even slightly gave a damn about you.

I'm Senator John McCain and I approve this message."

At the time, I was like, "cool, I guess I'll go vote on tuesday." But now, I wonder...

Looks like the National Republican Congressional Committee has been trying to trick voters into getting angry with the wrong people by making harassing calls that seem to be from their opponents. To their credit, I see according to the 2nd link some of the candidates the committee endorses have disavowed the committe because of these tactics.

But the committee doesn’t stop doing it. There is a reason the RNCC is doing this rather than the individual campaigns. The RNCC can play the heavy, using all the dirty tricks, while the individual campaigns can stay “above the fray” and look “principled” for denouncing them.

If this is true, its worse than the democrat snail mail I got with the child predator libels. At least snail mail doesn't interrupt your personal time at home. How low are these people going to sink? Whoever wins, we all lose.
