Hi, folks!
I'm new to the forum.
This question has probably been asked and answered before, but...is there anyway to discredit on-line "mediums" using the internet without getting sued? There are a number of sites offering services to clients to supposedly get in touch with loved ones who have passed. I'm sure this involves nothing more than cold (or in some cases hot) reading. Surely there are ways to present the skeptical point of view on such sites so visitors can see the other side of the coin before plunking down a bunch of money for nothing. Does anyone out there have any innovative ways to do this?
It would seem to be a service to the population in general if the skeptical side of the story was somehow presented to these people before they wasted their money. I'm sure they're probably all true believers and won't pay much attention, but it’s worth a shot if we can help at least some folks see the light! Has anyone ever attempted this before?
Maybe people can leave skeptical comments in guest books or on available blogs that may be linked to the site, etc. I'm sure there may be other ways also.
Let me know what y'all think. It seems to be a worthy project to pursue in our spare time.
