I've had "The Demon Haunted World" on order at my local bookshop for the last few weeks, and it shows no sign of arriving. It has to come direct from the USA apparently as there is no UK edition. The bookshop, a well known UK chain, has 3 whole sections of mind/body/spirit/reiki/Slvia Browne etc and only a small 'popular science' section with nothing by Carl Sagan. I asked them how can this be? Why are you stocking all this nonsense? Why no proper science section? They said they just sell what is "popular". Grrr.

I was prepared to be critical of your Critical Thinking 101 entry, but it is exquisite and comprehensive. Kudos. I hope it gets a lot of positive feedback from TCS members and visitors alike (assuming visitors can comment )

Caz, I was lucky enough to get a copy of Demon Haunted World shortly after publication. That's been 10ish years now and unfortunately skeptical books don't hold shelf space like woo ones do. To paraphrase Sagan himself from Cosmos regarding Euclid, "it's still a great read, full of the most elegant methods of applying skepticism". I hope you can procure a copy soon.

Seeing the complimentary comments here, I have had a quick look. Having just discovered that Face Book scores very low on the subject of accessibility for blind and partially sighted people, I can tell you that yours takes top marks for that. I did not listen to everything but cursored down listening to odd words and phrases. Sounds good to me - and definitely very worth while.
I use Dolphin Supernova 9.
