I'm looking for a good, and not too expensive, costume shop in Vegas. Does anyone have any leads?

Are you dressing up as a Vegas showgirl for the forum party?

I put "Las Vegas costume shop"(without quotes) into google and got quite a few hits. It was more helpful than I expected. Of course it's no substitute for a local with real knowledge.

I did find this: Roman Warrior Costume

It's almost a gladiator. Browsing around the "Adult Eyes Only!" section was pretty amusing. There are things there that would make TobiasTheCommie blush.

The brick and mortar store is only 4.2 miles from the hotel.

Some other ideas..
My family lives in Vegas, they're not always the hippest bunch, but they have some info.
I'll be talking to them in a day or two.
I was thinking you could find the best "internet price" and have it delivered directly to your hotel. If you call ahead there should be no problem. Get the persons name that helps you and get a tip to them when you arrive.

I'm thinking "TAM7 Costume Party".

I might have been able to pull that one off when I was 20.

To be fair:Roman Gladiatrix

They have expanded their inventory. These costumes were not available last time I looked.

Some of the Wizard and Witch costumes have potential. At least a few of them don't requite supermodel bodies. This one looks a bit like the Amazing One himself.

A costume party could be fun.

Wow, that's a good idea! Thanks!

If you have any details, just PM me.

Claus, if I weren't a committed heterosexual, I'd kiss you. Such a party would be too awesome - perhaps we could have everyone who shows up try to dress up as their avatar?

I don'T think it's that hard to put a sheet and some sandals in your bag. Christ.

****, you could even just bring the sandals and steal the sheets from your room. Have some imagination.
