Silliest thing I've read today, a baker wants to sue a cell-phone company beacause the tower they are building nearby "could disrupt "subtle forces" that help make the loaves."

"You can't see them, you can't smell them and you can't feel them, but it all comes together in the product," said bakery owner Ingrid Greenfield.

Says a rep with the Biodynamic Agricultural Association, which certifies that Greenfield's bread is based on a holistic and spiritual understanding of nature, "It is because so little is known yet and there is so little research to prove that radiation from mobile-phone masts is safe.

What research has shown that bread can be influenced by "holistic" and "spiritual" forces? Which these people "certify."

Maybe they make communion bread.
Reminds me of that Billy Connolly joke 'I can't believe it's not Jesus'.

[humorous derail]

There was a church sign up in my town for a while, I intended to get a picture but I never had the camera with me when I thought about it.

Anyway, what made it funny was that, apparantly, they didn't have commas or colons in their letters pack for the sign. It read:

Come try us
We have the best
Jesus

I cracked up. I can see it now: "New, improved Jesus!!! Now with twice the salvation and 50% more grace in every bite!"

"Our Jesus has lesss than 50% the guilt of other brands!"

"Life everafter in half the time!"

It still cracks me up when I think about it. I need to see if it's still up. I'm sure they meant it to be read as if it had a colon after best, but still...

I think she's talking about wild yeasts in the air (if she makes naturally leavened bread, that is). I don't consider yeasts spiritual, but obviously I'm not enlightened enough.
