This probably isn't news to many here but I've just learned that Killtown runs a forum that serves as a refuge for no-planers and others who have been banned from other crackpot forums. No, you should not visit the site if you value your brain cells.

This is one of the threads that they have determined is important enough to be "stickied" at the top of the page:

We'll ignore the fact that none of that title is correct. The thread was started by "prole art threat," who was banned from the 911 UK forum for calling for my murder. Here's the question he poses:

How convenient and timely. The place is a bogus front for primarily whitewashing the truth about 9/11. Or was it's creation date just another one of those 'coincidences'?

This is an excerpt from"david's" reply:

We should ask James Randi (and his ever so brilliant followers) to explain how when food enters into the organism, something of vegetable natures (that we eat) can be converted into flesh, muscle. bones etc.

If we place all the exact same ingredients into a beaker that would normally go into the stomach and intestines, having the exact same stomach acids, the same vibrations, the exact same stimulus, same enzymes and temperature, it still would not turn into anything more than a blob of vegetable mush. How would James Randi be able to explain this transformation without admitting that the "Ether", "Astral and "I" play an important role in matter?

There were a lot of intelligent bald materialists at TAM-- are they sure they have the right Satan? And Randi is brilliant---but the most brilliant "scientific minds" I can think of all have hair.

And, as a biology teacher, I don't think I've ever used the terms "Ether", "Astral and "I" in explaining the digestive process. I'm not sure The Christ mentioned "ether" or "astral"--so I can't imagine why the anti-christ or Satan would need to (or fear the "how does food become our body" question).

I believe "the appropriate time" means "when I'm out on a doctor-supervised weekend pass."

On a side note, it's good to see that Holocaust deniers like Rick Rajter have also found a home there.

I checked the link provided by killtown's site and it goes to the Reynolds site where he gives a link to the NIST documents. The September 28th response (warning - pdf) to Morgan is worth reading for the repeated "your request...is denied" statements alone. Judy Wood's paperwork is also at the link, along with some others including the requests for correction from a guy named Edward Hass - does this name ring a bell?

I vaguely remember Randi making eye-rolling dismissive comments about conspiracy theorists in general, but yeah, if you're not claiming something supernatural or paranormal that Randi's background in stage magic can be used to help debunk, I doubt that he'll be all that interested. Then again, the truthers have gotten the attention of the JREF enough that Gravy is a scheduled speaker for Randi's upcoming Amaz!ng Meeting in January.
