So says a new study of mothers' attitudes, as reported by the BBC
"And the proportion of parents believing MMR is a greater risk than infection with measles, mumps or rubella fell from 24% in 2002 to 14% in 2006. 'Hard-core rejecters' of the vaccine only account for 6% of mothers, the figures show. "
Let's hope the hard core soften in the future, but somehow I think there will always be a few percent who reject all reason.
These will, thanks to herd immunity, continue to maintain their wall-eyed view of vaccine "risk", and go to their graves insisting they were right and their actions quite justified. Lets just hope none of their children go to the grave.
