You have to wonder, since this was so early in his term, how many other times did George get shouted down during his entire tenure?

In a situation like 9/11, is the procedure supposed to be for the President to board Air Force One and stay airborne until the crisis passes or stabilizes, or hie to the first available control bunker?

initially the secret service determined the safest place was the school which had been checked and cleared prior to the presidents arrival, then they would move him to a more secure location once they had a better idea of what was happening

So this is supposed to be a documentary rather than a docudrama. Well, we'll see. When ABC did its little docudrama, it made some stuff up in the interest of drama (the TRUTH apparently not being dramatic enough) and omitted some key scenes.

Fortunately, I have scripted some of the scenes that the earlier docudrama (ahem) overlooked.

Call me cynical, but I do not trust the members of the Bush team to tell the story honestly.
