Collective willpower theory shot down

SFB---Speaking about 'dead on': The poor guy that interfered with that foul ball two days ago? If I were him, I would leave Chicago and take on a new identity. He has got to be a marked man.

Even Mike Gallagher today said that NOBODY wants the Marlins. I was hoping for a Cubs/Yankees matchup, just for historical significance. I have been alive for half a century and have not seen the Cubs in a World Series. And then we have a new team in there who has already won it (1997), and has never lost a post season playoff series...and they may win it again. And here is the third largest city in America, and they can't buy the players to get it done. Er, uh, maybe the problem is they are trying too hard and are fighting the demons of never having won since 1945. Maybe the pressure is too much for them. Maybe they will NEVER do it...just cause of the pressure.

Collective willpower had to be on their side. There was this guru a number of years ago who wanted a good share of the world to pray for some cause and he really believed the event would happen due to this collective power. Well, my post shows this theory is wrong.

Go...

...Marlins - go.

They CAN beat the Yankees - a team bought and paid for!

Barkhorn.
