Coast to Coast AM ~ Guest Dr. Louis Turi, Astropsychologist & Seer

Does anyone ever listen to Coast to Coast AM with George Noory? I just discovered his radio program last year. I've only heard Art Bell when they were rebroadcasting an old program.

The program last evening was interesting (though frightening). Dr. Louis Turi, an astropsychologist and seer, was his guest in the first half-hour. He made three predictions for the month of November.

Turi Predictions

In the first half-hour, astropsychologist and seer Dr. Louis Turi checked in on his last round of predictions and offered some new ones for the month of November.

As of November 8th there is a "super nova window" (a.k.a. Mercury retrograde) which will bring negative energies, he warned. Specifically, he mentioned these dates and descriptions:

November 8th-- A big explosion or earthquake.
November 19th-- Lots of people will be forced to relocate or restart a new life.
November 29th— An ugly energy involving death for many innocent people.

This is part of the recap from last night's program noting the other guests:

Earth Changes Roundtable

Geologist Jim Berkland, preparedness expert Stan Deyo, and physicist James McCanney joined together for a roundtable discussion on current and upcoming earth changes. The panelists concurred that there is a correlation between solar activity and earthquakes, weather and other planetary phenomena.

McCanney commented that the sun is in a volatile cycle and combined with that there is evidence of human weather manipulation, exciting or triggering recent cataclysms. Further, comets coming from the south and hitting the sun directly, indicate "something large is out there" that has been affecting our sun since 2001, he said.

Berkland noted that there is a lot of repression of scientific data that doesn't fit with the prevailing thought. He noted that an eclipse that will pass over Turkey and China in March 2006 could be associated with a possible quake, citing how a recent eclipse passed over Pakistan shortly before a large earthquake occurred there. He also mentioned that a new book about his life, The Man Who Predicts Earthquakes will be coming out soon.

Deyo believes there are signs that we are in the midst of a cyclic period of events that will change the face of the Earth before it's through. He sees 8-10 years of violent weather ahead, and in the short term, major quake or volcanic activity hitting somewhere on the West Coast of the U.S. The planet is warming up because of solar changes, he said. Related to this, Deyo shared an account of visiting with a Hopi elder who told him of a prophesied time when the sun will be so hot it will ignite grass.

Heh, I miss Turi's meltdowns on USENET. He always tried to post backdated messages and claim our servers didn't get them in time. Lame beyond Lame. Oh, and he was the most ghoulish of USENET prophets, running in after every tragic event to shine the spotlighton himself.

I thought he had a general ban from Being on the radio after a particularly bad meltdown.

Turi has himself a place of (dis)honor on the Kook Kard Deck - petitmorte.net/sean/kookdeck

He's in great company - below Richard TheStupid, to the left of TerriTickle, and just above Mrs. Zeta Talk.

When he was talking about the three predictions for November, he was rather vague and declined to offer any specific details. He said he didn't want to alarm people. Perhaps he thought his chances of being accurate would be greater by not disclosing many of the details. Something would happen but not necessarily the predictions he's speaking about.

Did anyone actually listen to last night's show? There's a button in the upper left hand corner of the Coast to Coast AM website (Last Night's Show).

Turdi can still be found in alt.astrology, doing his usual routine of climbing atop the piles of dead bodies from the latest natural disaster to scream “LOOK AT ME! I FORETOLD THIS!” and hawk his books. Particularly reprehensible was his commitment to ‘help’ the victims of the Tsunami by sending them free copies of a previous book of his so they might ‘benefit’ from his predictions the next time a disaster looms.

On the up-side, we (TINW) did manage to get him to admit that he has no right to use the “Dr.” he likes to stick before his name. He claimed that it was nothing more than a term of affection used by his fans (and, of course, he continued to use it every time he posted). These days he no longer engages in conversation or flaming with anyone, he just spits out his ghoulish post-dictions after a body-count makes the headlines. That, and posts obviously forged e-mail messages he gets from adoring fans world-wide (who coincidentally share many of Turdi’s linguistic peculiarities).

edit : eye kan spel

I found an interesting article about Coast to Coast AM. It appears that George Noory is making an effort to interview a variety of people in the news (not just paranormal topics).
