I cant believe it. Its a very cliche' style. He is just changing his manner after the fact. uhhhh....

I seriously want to learn this. I might practice it with my girlfriend.
He is immensly general. You could close your eyes, imagine he is talking to you for BOTH people and it still applies.

Please get on there...get people to ring you up and do some cold reading. That would be fantastic.

This video gets me wondering....Why in hell do thumb drives use flash memory to store information when so much more information could be packed in them by simply using a few random lines?

The sad thing is that this guy has probably been doing this so long that he actually believes he has some palm-reading ability.

What's worse, however, is that people actually believe he has the ability when he reads their palm for them. Quiet desperation.

What I'd REALLY love to do would be to get a realistic mannequin hand, make some lines on it if it didn't have them already, turn it into a slightly fuzzy picture and email that to him on that friggin' show. I wonder what insight he'd have on the mannequin’s future life.
 
The first reading with Ronnie, NSW, was for me.

It was spot on.

I didn't have to fit anything.
 
Geez! What a little Sherlock Holmes this guy isn't! "You like to be near the sea." for a person who lives in Ballina! It's up there on the screen! DUH! Ballina is a well-known town on the NSW north coast...by the sea!

(For our USAians, that's like saying a Ft Lauderdale or Santa Monica retiree likes to live near the sea.)

Not just cold reading but hot as well. Totally pathetic.
 
i dont know what you cats are talking about, he totally read her palm- he could tell she was in her thirties by looking at it

I'd be interested in knowing what signs to look for in identifying a cold reading. Could someone point me in the right direction. :)

The first identifying sign of a cold reading is that their lips are moving. :)

i am not sure i understand what you are asking- cold reading is just a term used when someone (supposedly) "reads" a person they have never met and (supposedly) have no knowledge about...thus the "reading" is using some sort of unexplained, extrasensory power to learn information about them.

if you mean, how can you tell someone is a hoaxer, at this point, it is safe to assume they all are until someone does a test in a controlled, scientific manner that proves results better than pure chance (or standard trickery).
