I mentioned this in the beheading thread. More bad press.

Let me be the first to say "WHERE'S THE AMERICAN OUTRAGE!". Sorry, but I always find the "wheres the arab outrage" line so sanctimonious. And you know thats gonna pop up agian afterthat poor guy got beheaded in Saudi Arabia.

Whats up with CIA contractors?? Are they able to skirt the rules if your contracted and not hired bythe CIA?

CIA interrogator charged in Afghan's death

WASHINGTON (AP) — A former army ranger hired by the CIA to conduct interrogations was charged with assaulting an Afghan detainee who died after two days of beatings, the first time civilian charges have been brought in the investigation of prisoner abuse in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A four-count grand jury indictment was handed up Thursday in Raleigh, N.C., against David A. Passaro, 38, for the June 21, 2003, death of Abdul Wali.

Attorney General John Ashcroft said Passaro was accused of ``brutally assaulting" Wali at a U.S. base in Asadabad, Afghanistan.

Where it should be: the courts. See the diff?

Courts??? We dont care about courts. (plus you have to cath the guys first) We talk about why the muslim leaders dont come out en mass and say X and Y about the incident.

Do you think our govt leaders are gonna make a big deal about this story? Apolgize to the muslim world? OF cousre not. And heres a guy directly under their control. Unlike the band of terrorsists choppin up people.

Just to point out some inconsistancies. No big deal but please do note the title of the tread you started.

know what your saying. But if these terrorist beheders were caught by the Saudis theyd proably be on there way to a quick death penalty. Its not like theyd be set free. BUT the "outrage" thing is just proapganda to paint all muslims as antiamerican monsters who deserve to die. I think thats unfair.

I do not think the intent of american outrage, at least as it is portrayed in the media or by Bush, is to paint muslims as monsters (though many will draw that conclusion on their own. The intent, at least by the Bush administration, is to paint all terrorists as monsters. Personally, I don't need Bush to paint that picture for me.

Where is the Arab outrage?
Hmm, I just don`t know....car bombs, killing mercenaries, killing the US quizlings masquerading as leaders in the fake hand over of power...seems there is plenty of Arab outrage to me come to think of it...
