Christine Ebersole woo woo

Yes, it may well be libel when she says:

Christine Ebersole said:
I’d ask about World Trade Center number 7. That’s the most obvious blunder, because [Larry] Silverstein [the building’s owner] said publicly that ‘we had talked with the fire department and we felt that WTC 7 was so badly damaged that we decided to take it down.

That may be the reason Christine Ebersole asked Conner to remove the article.

I think it's an outrage to smear every single celebrity for supporting CTs. Even if they're really woowoos, it's against free speech I think. Could it be considered libel? Unless they really throw then in a mental facility and evaluate them as insane, then I guess it's OK.

So, what you think?
I think freedom of speech cuts both ways. Do you think Ms Ebersole's right to express her views on 9/11 outweighs someone else's right to criticise or ridicule her?

Perhaps it's not nice to say, but the vast majority of celebrities are ignorant, easily manipulated and gullible. The only thing they do for any movement is garner publicity, but their opinions have about as much weight as that of a reasonably literate turd.

And no, it's not an issue of free speech to "smear" anyone. The NYP can print anything they want, and you can type anything you want, too. Frankly, I've never found the NYP to be a particularly good (in the sense of reliable, accurate, impartial and honest) news source. They seem to delight in engaging in sensationalism and muck-raking. I guess what I'm trying to say is that Ms. Ebersole, the NYP and everyone else involved is going into my "Things I could not care less about" drawer.

Hmmm free speech...

She makes unfounded accusations of the most callous muders in history by unnamed federal government officials.

They call her a nut for doing so.

I do find one repugnant, but it isn't the Post...for a change.

Sad news...

Sorry to hear Christine Ebersole is a Twoofer and a deeply religious Christian, as I had a little crush on her when I was younger. Still do.

Oh, well, as Oscar Madison said ever so well, "Back to Tuesday Weld and the H-Bomb." :D
