Here is your chance to get your Christie prediction in before anything happens and perhaps prove your psychic ability.

He will continue to exist unless his weight gets him, and will be engaged either as governor or not, and will or will not be a presidential candidate.

I voted charges but not impeachment as I think he'll follow Governor Ultrasound's example and get indicted after he leaves office. It'll take a while to build the case up.

We can still see wishful thinking about conservatives. For example, it was claimed by the Christie administration that the Federal audit on the Sandy relief money was "just routine", that they do this all the time. That statement is false. The fact that they are looking into it suggests that already have reasonable suspicions of improper behavior. It still amazes that some people believe that Christie can live this down, hold onto his job, and run for president. Christie's career in politics is over.

How does resignation in the face of impeachment sound for an option?

A second Grand Jury was called. It looks like they are getting ready to indict four of Christie's staff. There is no movement of the Doomsday clock though unless one of his staff implicates him and that hasn't happened yet. Of course, there is still the second Grand Jury. You can read about this here: http://www.esquire.com/blogs/politics/christie-investigation?src=spr_TWITTER&spr_id=1456_65523787

Today is Wingnut Prosecution Day! Happy Wingnut Prosecution Day!!!

Wait...wasn't Christie yukking it up with Jimmy Fallon last week. They made a joke about the bridge closure, so I thought everything was fine with all that. Silly me.

The toaster is heating up, and lots of slices from this loaf of corruption are going to get burned.

That Esquire article says all that Christie's potential political funders need to know. His cronies are owe him no loyalty in the face of their own prison sentences. They will all sing. And it's not just the bridge and the Sandy relief money for Hoboken. He has run such a thoroughly corrupt regime that he ought to be prosecuted under RICO.

I'm so sure of this that I'm already done with Christie and am bending my thoughts to Andrew Cuomo. What has he done to help, or condone through inaction, Christie's theft from the Port Authority to fund non-PA projects in NJ? How did he let Samson run the PA for the direct benefit of the billings of his law firm?

I predict he will emerge as a new thin version of himself and choose the nickname "Winkie", which most Americans will confuse with his distant cousin who resigned in disgrace over some bridge incident thing that nobody quite remembers (but think some girl drowned).
