And it's all taking place in Bridgeport, Connecticut, eponym of P.T. Bridgeport, the bear showman in "Pogo" comics who spoke entirely in circus poster fonts. With dingbats and pointing fingers and other ornamentation.

It’s a pity that bus isn’t touring the UK. The latest news item on the Action for Victims of Chiropractic website has the story of a UK chiropractic patient who suffered an arterial dissection which caused a brainstem stroke. Apparently the chiropractor admitted liability for it which is really quite odd since the regulatory body repeatedly insists that “there is no evidence that neck manipulation causes stroke”. Perhaps the reason for its stance is that there’s nowhere for patients to report injuries to.

Gotta love double standards. Chiros want to be called "doctors", but don't want to have to follow the same rules about informed consent.

Nor do they need a proper education on how the human body actually works. Afterall, - a real education would only show them that their notion of "subluxation" isn't based on reality. Can't have that realization now.
