Does anybody know anything about Chinese Bellflower?
I have a persistent chest cold. The pharmacist at the drug store recommended something to me and I bought.
Several days later, I decided to actually look at (and translate...) the ingredients and see what I was taking. Turns out that the two main ingredients are Chinese Bellflower and Licorice, or at least the extracts thereof. Are these known to have medicinal properties?
Other ingredients (besides 50mg of caffeine
)
codeine
methylephedine (so I guess ephedrine isn't illegal here)
chlorphenalanine
Geez. I just looked at that list now for the sake of completeness. Will this do me any good?
