I recently joined the forum over at theedgeam.com. I've posted about this website before, but in short The Edge is an Internet radio program that promises to "Discover the Truth Together"! However, Daniel Ott, the host, invites on the show just about any conspiracy theorist or crack-pot available. He's had people who believe the world is hollow, that the government is setting up FEMA camps, aliens have taken over the government, etc. The common thread is religion. Most of the guests believe that there are angels, demons, God, etc. behind just about everything. It's a weird place.
I posted in a thread about Chemtrails explaining that they are actually called contrails and made of harmless condensed water. The Forum moderator got into the 'real' information that they are made of dioxin and cause 'global dimming'. He then posted a video 'documentary' that claimed that this global dimming has resulted in the decrease of sunlight across the globe of 20% or so....I couldn't watch the whole thing. It's 30-minutes I'll never get back.
He also invited me to join him on his radio show in the UK and discuss the issue with a PhD. I'm not sure what the PhD is in, but I turned it down. I didn't see anything further to discuss unless he could produce any real scientific data to support his claims. I await, without breath held.
Anyway, should I have taken him up on his offer? What would you have done?
