Checkpoint Charlie comes to the Panhandle

The Florida governor has authorized checkpoints on travelers attempting to enter the state from Louisiana. Such travelers will have to self quarantine for 2 weeks. It’s getting stranger here. So far my county has no known positives.

Florida's governor is still holding his breath and refusing to concede that his state is one of the country's hotspots, trying the change the subject to highlighting the country's other hotspots as a threat to it.

Maybe if the governor was honest about the dire emergency Florida was facing right now, people wouldn't be flocking to it.

Sounds nice, but most (and I think all) beaches are closed now in the panhandle.

Depending on where you are, hotels (and motels?) may be closed as well, meaning this proposed required self-quarantine I guess would take place in one's car?
