Channeling of Jesus

A few years ago I was at a party where some participants revealed that they belonged to a new Christian sect where some medium channeled Jesus and got all sort of wonderful revelations from him!

I was given a book that was much like the newest testament where Jesus told all kind of feel-good truths and revealed that he is all love and care, and that we should have respect of each other no matter colour or race ... and so on!

Now, at that time I had no particular interest in religious beliefs, but now I wonder if anybody else have heard about this sect and if anybody could point me to some web site where I could grab some quotes for an atheist site where I write?

About time there was a new gospel of Jesus Christ. I read the Book of Mormon a long time ago, and have been waiting for the sequel ever since.

Do you have any more information, other than that it's a sect and channeling Jesus is involved? Channeling Jesus hardly seems like it would be an uncommon activity among New-Agers, certainly not something unique to a particular group.

For example, do you still have that book you mentioned in the OP, and if so, could you give us its title? Any other details would be helpful.
 
Jesus does posessions now, too? So if he and Satan posessed the same body at once...

No, I was hoping some of you guys could refresh my memory. At the time I just thought it was ridiculous, and I can no longer remember the name of the book. And we lost contact with the hostess who has also changed address.

It is something like four years ago that I met these people, and I thought that at that time it might have made a greater stir in the States than here in Denmark.
 
Crap, I mispelled "possession" twice in a row. I blame Jesus! He possessed me! You're really only supposed to use one "s!"
