As the Loosers approach their 5,000th thread on the new forum (don't ask me why, but round numbers have always fascinated me for some reason) I thought it might be interesting to see how many threads have been deleted, just for the sake of my own curiosity. I was surprised to discover that the total number of threads showing in the various forums is less than 4,500. Granted, there are probably a few threads in their sooper seekrit clubhouse that can't be seen, but we're still talking about roughly FIVE HUNDRED THREADS that have been deleted.

Now, to be fair, there are probably a good number of those that were started by JREFers baiting Do-Over and his crew. But I'd guess that there were several hundred deleted because they contained posts that were stupid/offensive/racist/bigoted/anti-Semitic/some combination of the above.

10% of all threads down the memory hole. Helluva way to run a TRUTH movement, Dylan.

I can't answer to that point jh, but it's my impression that lately things have got much more "liberal" over there. My latest LC incarnation has been happily and openly sceptical for over 50 posts, and I've seen plenty of the same.
My guess is a declining interest from "The Leader of The Pack", his team and minions. Like a spotty kid who thought that buying a second-hand sports car would be really exciting and change his life, but in reality all he gets is hefty garage bills and big trouble with insurance costs. Maybe reality is slowly dawning among the LC crew.
Take a look at the infighting among the Twoofer elite. Take a look at the open derision being meted out to Lyte and Killtown.....

"This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning." (cue rousing and inspirational music, pass round huge cigars. Drink vast quantities of brandy while making "V" signs ad lib. Advance on El Alamein)

You'd also have to include a large, but probably unquantifiable, number of individual posts which have also been deleted.

Any numbers on banned posters?

I think they also get spam threads on LCF, which obviously would be included in the number of deleted threads.

I've often wondered if they actually de-register the spam-bot though, or whether they keep it registered to boost the member numbers.

I think as Dylan and Jason etc... get more into the hollywood scene, you will see less and less of them in EVERY aspect of 9/11 trooth with the exception of profit and fame.

I look forward to fencing with you over there GlennB.

It's regretable that you have to hide behind a sock unlike me.

Behave like a mature adult and you can post under the same name in both forums.

Act like a kid out of grade school and you are forced to become a sock puppet!

Dont confuse it with liberalism, the lack of banning and thread deletion is probably more due to the mods intake of narcotics.
You cant expect logical and consistent behaviour from them.
I doubt they know what day it is ,or when they last visited the toilet, or in fact, where that toilet actually is.

That may be so. Of course, there's no telling when all of those things were deleted. I suspect that a lot of them went when Do-Over was trying to make nice for his producer friends. A lot of the real bad stuff went then. Now, it does seem that they're more tolerant, with deleting being pretty much limited to flagrant JREF provocations.

Judging from the number of GONE and unregistered labels I have seen in the relatively short time i have been viewing the LCF, i would guess that there have been more members banned than have actually posted there. I think the mathematical equation is LCF bans = (Alex Jones fans x c2/anti-semites in the US)2

yeah cause they just don't ban for having a different point of view...... .

Find a thread of mine where i resorted to the name calling that killtown and roxdog and 28th......although Killtown insulting makes sense since he believed that a 100 ton plane displaces 100 tons of dirt when hitting the ground.

I would love to have a face to face conversation over a beer with any of these guys.....I would even pay it would be worth the entertainment.

Some more LCF stats:

They have (supposedly) at least 2,150 members (43 pages x 50 members/page = 2,150), but most of the posting is done by the top 100 or so. The member ranked 200th in total posts has 33. And there's a significant number (hundreds) who have never posted, and hundreds more who have just one (probably in the welcome thread).

Again, to be fair, they've only had that forum running for five months. But, even so, it's the hard core that's keeping it going. Most of the hangers-on have already fallen by the wayside.

Sigh..we had over 4,000 when the forum got reset.

My name is Glenn Baron - what's yours, oh patronising one?

eta: we have "fenced" a number of times already. You had no more evidence there than you have shown here.

Loose Change forums belong on an old Magic Slate, not the internet.

Lift the page and it's purged!

Out of the 2150 members, 63 are Oliver, 4 were me (don't ask), AFAIK alot of people here had more than 1 membership there at different times so how many unique non JREF members do they have?

We had "Etch-a-Sketch" here ~ draw, shake, and voila, the image disappeared.

These days, there is even an online version, apparently :)
