I think that the prospects of peace in the Middle East are strained enough without people objecting to them on the basis of thousands-of-years-old mythology.
Anyone that disrupts the peace process because it "is against the Bible" should accept moral responsibility for the deaths they cause, and suggesting the process is doomed because of a silly book is to some extent a disruption. I guess some of these "Bible" followers care more about their own credibility than they do about human life.

It is frightening that Pat Robertson believes this stuff and still made a serious bid for the White House. We should forgo efforts to make peace in the Middle East in because it contradicts a book of fairy stories written thousands of years ago. riiiiight.....
