Just finished watching Casino Jack and the United States of Money (available for instant viewing on Netflix by the way). Besides being a really expertly made and entertaining (both horrifying and sometimes funny) documentary, it does a great job of exposing the all to powerful influence of money in politics. The main villains are GOP'ers, but the point of the film is that it's the system that stinks, not just a few bad apples or one party.

And I just discovered that there's a Hollywood version with Kevin Spacey coming out.

Anyone see this? Wondering if anyone wants to discuss the doc and/or the issue of money in U.S. politics.

Haven't seen it yet although it is on my list. Lately between the kid, work and school I am thinking it may be time to break a leg or something to catch up on the movies, games, and books I am amassing without using.

I saw the documentary linked in the OP, but haven't seen the Kevin Spacey movie yet.

I really liked the doc. & will wait for the Spacey movie when it comes on DVD.

It's a really sobering documentary & I recommend it to everyone. And yes, the system stinks & abuse can be had by (R) & (D).
