Canadian Bigfoot

Videos like this always make me wonder why they are so short. In this case, there was clearly no danger, whatever it was must have left the area somehow...could there not have been more footage?

The cynic in me says that someone was filming from their camp as their friend hiked up the other hillside for whatever reason. Then upon viewing the relatively shaky and unclear footage, thought, "Hey he kinda looks like a bigfoot! I'll post a short clip on the web and see what happens."

It's an advertising gimmick by a software company called PlayMobility. Seems to be a success since the media is eating it up.

Meldrum says that he has been contacted by the party who took the video but makes no mention of it being a hoax or gag. He has previously endorsed a video called "Snow Walker" of an Asian Yeti which he later learned was a planned hoax.

The most recent bigfoot video. It comes from British Colombia, Canada. As is the norm, Jeff Meldrum weighs in.

Wouldn't it actually be fair to the Prof to mention what he said? He said "Its vagueness makes it of very little value. It could be anything".

Fine to have a pop at him when he makes an unsubstantiated claim, but when, as in this case, he says "I dunno" then frankly, implying snidely that he has done something wrong does you no credit. The fact is, it would be incredibly surprising if he didn't comment on a video, because as soon as each one comes out the first thing every journalist does is ring him up and ask his view.

Give him stick when he's wrong, by all means, but not when he is right.

^ Agreed. I was surprised that they aired him saying basically nothing at all to promote the video directly as a Bigfoot ( other than another public venue for him to say why he believes Bigfoot is real, and then have the reporter plug his book that is now how many years old?).

The reporter seemed to have a bit of Footer in him to me. He wasn't smiling out the side of this mouth and he seemed to be pretty open to the idea of Bigfoot. (Sigh)

The way the Dr. made it sound on Facebook, is that they kind of ambushed him with the video line of questioning. He was there to talk about the Blimp project, and they kept asking him about this new video.

I figured people could view the video themselves to hear what he said...*shrug*

Agreed, JK didn't say that Meldrum said anything good or bad, just that he commented on another bigfoot sighting.
That said, I do appreciate Mike quoting him because I refuse to click on a Fox News link.
