I have a bet going with a coworker and I have not been able to find out any official information. The bet is about something he claims to have heard on the radio around the time of the debate over whether to pass the $87 billion dollars.
He claims that it nearly didn't pass due to the budget for that money having roughly $1 million dollars unaccounted for. I, on the other hand, heard no such thing. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a breakdown of said $87 billion dollars anywhere to prove either of us right. Anyone have a link or know of a place I might look. I've tried googling, but I can only find ball-park estimates, some of which have nearly $10 million in discrepancy.
