Can I just be the first to say...

Oh boy. Ok, maybe if 200,000 people had concerns, I'd say ok. Maybe even for 20,000 people.

But, for 2,000?

(Donning her best John Stassel imitation)...

GIVE ME A BREAK!

I don't think what he's asking for is that bad an idea. There were some irregularities in the election (albeit not large enough to effect any outcome) and if any others are discovered it could make for more accurate vote counts in the future.

Of course the cost would be a pretty penny, I'm sure. And all that time involved.

I believe Ohio will have a total recount done. They have some antiquated law on the books that if 5 people who did not vote for the winner want a recount the state has to do it (but they charge for it...it's expected to cost several hundred thousand dollars and a group is raising the funds now.)
