It is now clear to me that Sharlene is the woman he brought with him to act as "receiver" at his test, which he of course failed spectacularly.

I feel that if you are discussing test results, saying so and so failed, etc., you need to provide the information and data from the test so others can evaluate the test, and what you say.

Would you?

Tested by PHACT

I'm not at JREF right now so I'll confirm this in the morning, but I believe the Remote Reading test was conducted at Phact in Philadelphia. The applicant took it like a man, too, when he failed to demonstrate his claim. He said he'd be back. And so he is, through an application submitted by the receiver in that test.

I do recall that after he failed to demonstrate his claim at the test site, he tried to get the sender/receiver positions switched, but this was not the kind of protocol change Phact was willing to entertain at that moment.

WRONG

Well, my memory is apparently worth little when it comes to Paranormal tests, even when only one has actually ocurred during my tenure.

Phact had nothing to do with it. Caroline Skeptics is now defunct, but its founder ERIC CARLSON is still active and doing work on our behalf as needed. He tested Cameron Johnson.

I am now putting together the CAMERON JOHNSON thread, which should be up in the Applications section within the hour.

And it WAS Sharlene who accompanied him at the 2004 test.

The CAMERON JOHNSON thread is now up in the Challenge Applications area.

Eric Carlson, the investigator for both tests, just sent me this link, as well:

You now have most everything you need to evaluate my statements.

Much appreciated. :)

Will you provide data in this manner in the future if you make statements about claimaint performance and test results are mentioned?

It was very helpful.

:)

I think everyone would be interested in seeing and evaluating the actual data.

Because the rules of the JREF Challenge allow for it (following a 12 month waiting period), and because he wanted to be of assistance to us. He also said to me that he felt sure that no one else would test him, and that, "Somebody has to do it."

And how could he know for sure that the results would be so similar? He kept an open mind.

He's a good man.

I have to give credit where credit is due. Mr. Anda could take a lesson or two from Mr. Carlson.

Voilà, Mr. Johnson has resurfaced.
It surprises me that not more applicants try again like him. Even with odds significantly small, you still might get lucky. I don't wish for it - for KRAMER's sake - but shouldn't several dozens of people apply again after a year? And again?

Or does this have to get attributed to the E in JREF? Perhaps I should let the dogs sleep.

Now, how many affidavits will Mr. Johnson bring to the table? Guesses please.

Hopefully they will introduce some sort of control to prevent a radio transmitter this time.

Receivers left alone? Sender speaks the cards aloud?

Can I take the test under those conditions, please?
