It seems there is a discussion board over here which is getting a rather incorrect view about vaccines.
Any Norwegian speakers care to pop over for a look see and help fight the good fight?

Don't know if I can be bothered. Might log on and dump links to the Vaccine ingredients podcast on Skeptoid, but beyond that, I really don't have the patience to debate these people. Trying to talk to conspiracy theorists is like training a cat to fetch sticks; they have their minds made up frmo the get-go and will just sit back and bombard you with smugness, insults and links to dubious sources until one of you gives up.

ETA 1: My favourite header so far: "Vaccines affect the immune system". No ****, Sherlock, what did you think they were for?

ETA 2: Ugh, that's enough for me. If I read any further, my blood will boil.

Here. in the U.S., the VAX is a thoroughly obsolete hardware platform. They stopped making them five years ago. Do you still use them in Norway?

Sure, they stopped manufacturing VAXen about 5 years ago, but there are still many, many, many still in operation (as well as the Alpha and Itanium follow-ons). There's a very good reason why this is so: superb, rock-solid engineering.

How do I know this ? I do VMS and Tru64 support, and I'm well aware how many are still in operation (otherwise I'd be out of a job).

Wow, that board's really been overrun by conspiracy theorists. Seems nearly all the threads are created by a "mamma-x-3" or a couple of her comrades-in-arms. I understand that you want help there, because as you say, it's one-sided as hell. Seems a lot of it is just spam, too, what with a lot of threads having no replies (most of them created by "mamma-x-3".

I suppose a better solution than calling in the cavalry would be to just fence in the place and impose upon it a quarantine of indefinite length, with "DANGER" signs all around.

Inclined to agree (with the intent, at least). I hate discussion boards like that one, they legitimize the whole conspiracy theory by giving it a designated forum.
