Saw that on the program listings yesterday -- and it was the last name I'd have expected to see. Should be interesting for sure.
 
Shermer and Dawkins on the same day.

Is there some sort of sensible revolution afoot?
 
Actually when George first took over the show I had high hopes. One of his first guests claimed that there were synagouges in the American southwest, on Indian reservations. Supposedly these structures had been built thousands of years ago.

Instead of letting him get away with George kept after him daring the guy to take him there and show him. Needless to say many excuses ensued. I think perhaps George found that you can't hope to get the kind of guests the show needs if you are going to ask probing questions.

Still when he wants to I have heard him press guests on just why the emperor is running around nekkid.

Enduring Noory's illogic requires vast intestinal fortitude. Kudos to Mike.
 
Shermer took every woo argument presented to him, chewed it up, and spat it out. I hope he was able to get through to some people.

He was *very* impressive. Too bad he's not a bigger celebrity.

I was also surprised that not all of the questions from callers were hostile.
