I took to searching through a databse of NY papers for those articles on missing people I mentioned. Here's what I have so far:

SLAIN WOMAN'S MOTHER ON MONTEL WILLIAMS SHOW.(Local).
The Post-Standard (Syracuse, NY) (July 1, 2002): pC1.

The mother and sister of Syracuse homicide victim Jill-Lyn Euto will appear today with a psychic on a taped segment of the Montel Williams show.
Joanne Browning and her daughter, Jenna Euto, will be among eight guests seeking answers from psychic Sylvia Browne. The program airs at 4 p.m. on WTVH-TV (Channel 5). Jill-Lyn Euto, 18, of 600 James St., was found stabbed to death in her apartment Jan. 29, 2001. Her slaying remains unsolved.

Not much information here. What did Browne tell her that was wrong?

How could she still be missing if she was found stabbed to death in her apartment?

All your sources say she was murdered. How can she be missing? What are you trying to say re: Sylvia B?

I've stayed away from cases where no body was found or the person is still missing/not convicted. That is because Browne could still "eventually" be right. Those cases are by far the norm.

OK, so the last name Euto doesn't work because someone is mispelling something somewhere. She also discusses Chandra Levy in this transcript so I'm including the beginning also. Guess the ethnicity of the man who killed Jill?

Family pleads for information on Pa. man missing for 5 years.

Oct. 12--ANYONE WITH INFORMATION
about the disappearance of Jerry Lee Cushey Jr. is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police in Belle Vernon at (724) 929-6262.

On Oct. 12, 2001, Jerry Lee Cushey Jr. seemed to vanish from this earth. His sister, Fairmont resident Gina Thorn, said she caught up with her brother on the phone that afternoon and told him she loved him before hanging up. He said he loved her, too.

No one in the Cushey family has seen or heard from him since.

It's been five years today.

The discovery of the roommate's van and two psychics' visions brought the search to the Cheat Lake area. The psychics told the Cushey family to look for Jerry's body in water near a large M. From Cheat Lake, you can see a large M sign for the Marathon gas station. One psychic also sensed the word lakeview.

Renowned psychic Sylvia Browne told Helmantoler on the "Montel Williams Show" that Jerry was killed because he saw something he shouldn't.

Yuma woman appears on 'Montel Williams' in search of La Mesa Street murderer.
Sun (Yuma, AZ) (Sept 28, 2006): pNA.

Sep. 28--A Yuma woman appeared on "The Montel Williams" show Wednesday in search of answers to the identity of a man who murdered six people -- including four children -- more than a year ago.

According to reports from KYMA-TV, Dora Valezquez, the mother of one of the victims, appeared on the program Sept. 27. She was one of a handful of guests who consulted author and self-proclaimed psychic Sylvia Browne. Browne appears regularly on "The Montel Williams Show," which airs on NBC Channel 11.

On June 24, 2005, Valezquez's 30-year-old daughter, Adrienne Heredia, was killed in her home at 2037 E. La Mesa St., along with her four children: Andreas Crawford, 13; Enrique Bedoya, 12; Inez Newman, 9; and Danny Heredia III, 6. Heredia's boyfriend, Luis Rios, 35, was found shot to death in the backyard. During Wednesday's previously taped broadcast, Sylvia Browne told Valezquez that the killer was of "thick build ... (and) an older man" around 50 years old. "I don't think he lives that far," Browne told her during the program, mentioning that it was someone they knew. Browne said the killer was acting "smug" and that no one would have ever thought that he could commit this crime. She said the killer had jealous feelings involving Rios, and that he was "violently mad." Valezquez could not be reached by The Sun for comment Wednesday afternoon. Browne continued during the program to say that the family and friends who were murdered that day were in the "wrong place at the wrong time" and reassured Valezquez that she was not in any danger.

Dismissed; For years, Marilyn McCown's family has tried to bring national attention tothe case of the missing woman. But they've leared that if you don't fit a certain profile, you are ...<.(Local).
Dayton Daily News (Dayton, OH) (March 13, 2005): pB1.

RICHMOND, IND. - Marilyn Renae "Niqui" McCown's family has explored leads and spent late nights trolling streets near the laundromat where the then-28-year-old was last seen in 2001.

The McCown family has spent thousands of dollars to get Niqui's story out to people around the country with limited success. In doing so, they have learned a harsh lesson that bothers some police and missingpersons experts: If you don't fit the profile, you don't get sustained national exposure for the case.

Psychic Sylvia Browne gave family members a reading on the Montel Williams Show. Court TV briefly profiled the case based on the Unsolved Mysteries report and news stories, Hughes said.

Niqui McCown, a single mother, lived in Richmond but worked for the Montgomery County Pre-Release program. She was on the dean's list at Sinclair Community College and dreamed of a career in law enforcement. **
She was last seen July 22, 2001, finishing her laundry at a Richmond laundromat.

Her sports utility vehicle was found Nov. 3, 2001, parked at the Meadows of Catalpa -- a Trotwood apartment complex where she once lived with an exboyfriend. Her laundry was found folded in the back.

The family said Richmond police have worked hard on Niqui's case, but didn't take her disappearance seriously until they learned she was a career woman from a good family. Richmond police dispute that.

In the death of Girly Chew Hossencofft, one question remains after two murder convictions and three years of investigation:

Where is her body?

A prosecution witness in the Albuquerque murder trial of Linda Henning says she thinks she has gotten the answer from a psychic.

Julie McGuire, an Aztec motel owner who testified during Henning's trial in October, said psychic Sylvia Browne believes Chew Hossencofft's body is buried west of Magdalena in a rugged, remote area strewn with dozens of abandoned mine shafts, some as deep as 200 feet.

"She said it's close to the mine shaft they searched," said McGuire, who said she hired Browne to do the $700 reading by phone Wednesday for her own peace of mind. "In fact, she said they walked right across where she is."

Browne, based in Campbell, Calif., is a nationally known author and TV figure on spiritualism and clairvoyance. She appears frequently on the "Montel Williams Show" and has been engaged in the past as a "psychic detective" to help solve crimes.

McGuire said Browne told her Chew Hossencofft's body was placed in one of the shallower mine shafts, after which the mine entry was filled in.

Authorities will find the body if they look for the site where no mine appears to exist but a map says it should be, McGuire said Browne told her.

McGuire said she didn't tell Browne anything about the case or the previous searches for the body.

"I didn't even tell her who was involved in the murder, but she knew there were three of them," McGuire said.

And yet another case where Browne was unhelpful:

Missing student's family turns to psychic; Police will review her tips in their investigation of disappearance in 1998.(News). Amy Rabideau Silvers.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the 1998 disappearance of Amber Wilde, then a University of Wisconsin-Green Bay student, including possible new leads by a nationally known psychic.

Members of the Wilde family met Sunday with psychic Sylvia Browne, who was making an appearance for an anniversary event at Oneida Bingo & Casino in the Green Bay area. Browne is the author of books on psychic matters and a regular guest on "The Montel Williams Show."

"We didn't know until we walked in that we would get to actually meet her," said Laurie Ehnert, an aunt who lives in Sussex in Waukesha County.

Five family members spent an emotional 10 or 15 minutes with Browne, later meeting with Green Bay detectives to discuss the case.

Browne told the family that she did not believe Amber Wilde was alive.

She spoke about Wilde, suggesting possible areas where authorities might search for her body, family members said.

Lt. Bill Galvin of the Green Bay Police Department said Monday that detectives would review the information provided by Browne as part of the investigation.

Family members said they where struck by how Browne described Wilde.

"She knew Amber's personality very well," said Bonnie Gandt, a cousin from Cedarburg who worked to arrange the meeting.
"You grasp for anything. She's so well-known, and we were lucky to meet with her.

A federal judge on Friday dismissed a lawsuit that claimed syndicated television talk show host Montel Williams invaded the privacy of a man who shot and killed his girlfriend and then committed suicide in 1998.

U.S. District Judge William O. Bertelsman told the attorneys for Linda Marie Mineer, who is the mother of Christopher Dean Mineer, 28, of Brooksville, that neither Ms. Mineer nor her deceased son was entitled to any damages because their privacy had not been violated.

The judge, who sits in Covington, ruled that ''The Montel Williams Show'' did not intentionally inflict any emotional harm or distress on Ms. Mineer and that Christopher Mineer's claims to any damages ended when he committed suicide Sept. 25, 1998.

Mineer, a landscaping and concrete worker, shot and killed his girlfriend, Carmen Jett Moorhead, 24, and then shot and killed himself.

Nice, Montel, nice. Only reason you won that lawsuit was cause the accuser was dead!

The mother of a Brooksville man who committed suicide two years ago has decided not to appeal a judge's ruling that dismissed her lawsuit against talk show host Montel Williams.

Linda Marie Mineer, who is the mother of Christopher Dean Mineer, 28, of Brooksville, filed a lawsuit against Williams and several others last year after claiming that two of Williams' shows linked her son to the disappearance of Erica Lee Fraysure, 17, who was last seen in Bracken County on Oct. 21, 1997.

Miss Fraysure has never been found. Mineer, a landscaping and concrete worker, shot and killed his girlfriend, Carmen Jett Moorhead, 24, and then killed himself on Sept. 25, 1998.

Ms. Mineer said in her lawsuit that Williams' shows on Sept. 24, 1998, and Jan. 21, 1999, implicated her son in Miss Fraysure's disappearance.

Both shows featured psychic Sylvia Browne, who was trying to help Miss Fraysure's mother, Maggie Doherty. Neither show mentioned Mineer by name, but Ms. Mineer claimed that those who knew her son could draw inferences from statements given by Williams and Ms. Browne.

Lemme get this straight- the police diverted the search to look for the girl, didn't find her, haven't found her to this day and the man she falsely accused committed suicide and killed his girlfriend and Montel only won the lawsuit cause the accuser apparently waived his legal rights when he committed suicide! Nice.

EeneyMinnieMoe, good work, but do not quote the entire or even the majority of the article. Quote the interesting parts, and use ellipsis to show there are missing parts.

This is part of the forum agreement, and it prevents the JREF from getting in trouble. I'm sure Browne's people are looking for every reason to stop this. Let's not give them one.

Also friendly tip you can use [ quote ] to make show it was writen by someone else.

Robert thinks that is why they now bleep out the full names on Montel.

MOLLY BISH LAID TO REST, The Boston Herald, August 3, 2003 Sunday, ALL EDITIONS, NEWS;, Pg. 007, 536 words, By Franci Richardson and Max Heuer

WORCESTER - On what would have been her 20th birthday, Molly Anne Bish finally was laid to rest more than three years after she vanished and was murdered in a mystery that still eludes police.

"It's become so real I feel after this weekend I don't have a sister anymore," said Heather Bish, 26, sister of Molly. "It's better than living in fear, thinking about whether she's OK."

More than 500 people turned out at St. Paul's Cathedral in Worcester for a high Mass led by the Most Rev. Daniel P. Reilly, bishop of Worcester.

In early June, state police found dozens of bones just a few miles from Comins Pond in Warren, where Bish disappeared. The bones were matched to Molly's DNA. Yesterday, the skeletal remains were sealed in a mahogany casket, topped by a single yellow rose.

Pupils present Bish memorial

Monday, June 04, 2007
By LORI STABILE

PALMER - From the soccer ball at its base to children with outstretched arms reaching to the eagle watching overhead, every inch of the totem pole made by Converse Middle School pupils in memory of slain Warren lifeguard Molly Anne Bish has meaning.

During an emotional ceremony at the school on Friday, the 8-foot memorial pole was presented to Molly Anne's mother, Magdalen M. Bish, a first-grade teacher at Old Mill Pond Elementary School. Some pupils who worked on the pole had Bish as their teacher.
...
She spoke about the hurt she experienced seven years ago when her daughter disappeared at 16 from her lifeguard post at Warren's Comins Pond. In 2003, her daughter's remains were found near the Palmer-Warren town line.

She said they still don't know who abducted Molly Anne, or why. But she said the Converse students have given her one of the best gifts ever - a reminder of her lost daughter who was "silly and funny and knew all the lines to 'Forrest Gump.'"

Rachel Cooke

I think a few of you might actually know of this guy, Robert Cooke. He keeps a blog about the search for Rachel and writing about the appearance on Montel, he said that he only appeared to showcase his daughter's photograph. Whatever Sylvia said didn't matter.

I understand Rachel Cooke used to be something of a household name...

So in late 2006 an inmate named Michael Keith Moore, already a lifer four times over for the murder of a pregnant woman, confessed to the rape and murder of Rachel. He later plead not guilty in court and then got the murder charges dropped because the prosecutors were looking for a grand jury indictment. Haven't been able to find anything else on him past November 2006.
