That's rich.

He seems to think the way to deal with a disaster is to downplay it.

Does he think he'll get his job back under a Romney-Ryan administration?

Someone got the bright idea to stick a microphone in front of Brownie (no relation) and see whether he would say something stunningly stupid. And Brownie didn't disappoint; he did a heckuva job.

I heard Bloomberg on the news yesterday praising Obama's reaction to Sandy, and how quick he was to mobilize the Army Core of Engineers to assist with repairing NY's damaged subway system.

I'm pretty sure the people holding office in the areas most affected by the storm have a little more authority to speak on Obama's response and whether it was appropriate or not.

Indeed. Gov. Christie said Obama's response has been "excellent".

Guess who's back making ignorant and offensive comments about hurricane-related matters?

Ex-FEMA director mocks Superdome blackout

Like plenty of people watching the power outage in the New Orleans Superdome during the Super Bowl on Sunday, Michael Brown cracked a Katrina joke on Twitter.

Unlike plenty of people, however, Brown was former director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency under President George W. Bush, in charge of managing the federal response to the 2005 hurricane that killed more than 1,800 people and left thousands of residents homeless.

"Someone just told me there was fighting going on in the NOLA Superdome," Brown tweeted, adding the hashtag "#shocked."

How do these people sleep at night?

A friend of mine had the best response: "I'm surprised Michel Brown even knows where the Superdome is."
