I don't know if he can make it, but it promises the best Entertainment in an election since Kinky Friedman's run for the Governor of Texas.

The 26th district, basically everything between but not including Buffalo and Rochester, is pretty conservative. He has a though fight ahead of him.

I'm in the 27th district by the way, so no voting for him from me.

How do I send a donation?

It always amazes me that someone who lives on the west coast has the required amount of arrogance to believe he should be meddling in an election for someone a continent away, even though he's not going to be one of the candidate's constitutents.

How about you butt out of stuff that's not your business?

Here's the funny thing about congresspeople, their votes don't just affect their constituents.

I'd vote for him too if I could. I trump lefty's arrogance big time.

And probably the only thing more amazing than that is people with the required amount of arrogance - and lack of self-awareness - to butt into someone else's business to admonish them about butting out of stuff that's not their business.

Ah, so, just some guy with a keyboard who rips on everything to seem "edgy."

How creative and special! Why, that might actually be ORIGINAL CONTENT!

Wait, no it isn't.

And then there's the people who have the temerity to butt into the business of people butting into the business of OPB!

Oh, the humanity!

While the Democrats haven't selected a candidate yet, the Republicans have. They picked Assemblywoman Jane Corwin. While she has a lot of backing, is fiscally very conservative, and fairly socially conservative, the local Tea Party has a pretty big problem with her. The Tea party, which is supposed to be new fiscal conservatives against government waste and such, don't think she's strongly enough anti-abortion or socially conservative enough. So it might become a three way race.

David Bellavia looks like he is determined to run, even though people like Pallidino are against him doing so. He might still be able to get enough financial support to ruin what should be an almost sure thing for the Republicans.

I'm betting he drops out though. They already lost one seat that way in New York, and it seems crazy that they'd repeat the same mistake twice in one state in such a short time.
