BBC now admits al qaeda never existed

Odd there is no source of these statements I can find on the BBC website. Your primary source validateyoutube is...?

Rumsfeld is shown explaining mountain fortress(s) of Al-Qaeda.

The US bombed the crap out of it and found NOTHING.

The Brits with their experience with IRA terrorists were going to find Al-Qaeda. The found no Al-Qaeda members and killed no Al-Qaeda members because there were no Al-Qaeda members to be found because there was/is no Al-Qaeda.

You think dealing with urban terrorists is somehow the magic key to locating a bunch of people hiding in the mountains of Afghanistan? Martin McGuinness wouldn't have lasted five minutes in the Tora Bora mountains

I read the BBC website every day, watch the news, listen to the headlines on the radio driving to work, and look at the newspaper headlines, I certainly don't remember any such story as there being no such thing as Al Qaeda ever appearing and as a 'witness' I'm sure CM will totally accept my testimony.

Oh look, yet another twoofer X admits Y claim that turns out to be a giant gawddamned lie.

Isn't there a single half-wit in the entire movement who knows how to read and write English?

I liked the Israeli classroom course of how to edit Wikipedia to fight/edit out anti-zionism.

And this has what to do with the claim you make that in the title of this thread? Oh wait are you now going to claim that they somehow edited this story out of the BBC website, so the fact that there's not trace of this story existing is more evidence of how evil the zionists really are?

You nailed it.

They ignored 7/7 didn't they?

I was replying to Kid Eager's comment. Is that O.K.?

Probably a reference to the 2004 BBC documentary "The Power of Nightmares"WP.

"BBC now admits al qaeda never existed" is (of course) a gross misrepresentation.

And yet the BBC still covers the existence of Al Qaeda as recently as four days ago....

Seems like the editorial policy is that Al Qaeda exists.

Ergo your OP is wrong.

In fact one has to wonder if Clayton even bothered to look at the BBC site and see if they have anything to say on the subject, an act that takes all of ten seconds and shows that Yes, the BBC really does believe these folks exist:

If Clayton would like to point me towards the items on that list that suggest Al-Qaeda is fictional please...

The Power of Nightmares, subtitled The Rise of the Politics of Fear, is a BBC documentary film series, written and produced by Adam Curtis. The series consists of three one-hour films, consisting mostly of a montage of archive footage with Curtis’s narration, which were first broadcast in the United Kingdom in late 2004 and have been subsequently aired in multiple countries and shown in several film festivals, including the 2005 Cannes Film Festival.

The films compare the rise of the American Neo-Conservative movement and the radical Islamist movement, making comparisons on their origins and noting strong similarities between the two. More controversially, it argues that the threat of radical Islamism as a massive, sinister organised force of destruction, specifically in the form of al-Qaeda, is in fact a myth perpetrated by politicians in many countries—and particularly American Neo-Conservatives—in an attempt to unite and inspire their people following the failure of earlier, more utopian ideologies. Episodes included: Baby It’s Cold Outside, The Phantom Victory and The Shadows in the Cave.

You gotta love it when another Western country, not the US, bad mouths neocons who are Unknown, Ununderstood, and Unidentified in the USA.

.
When did Adam Curtis become official spokesperson for the BBC, anyway?

What's that?

He's not?

And CM is being untruthful when zie suggests otherwise?

Well, given that the truth was readily available to zie and yet zie posted lies, this would make zie a .... under zir own 'logic'?

Rhymes with "hummy pie-er"
