On second thoughts, it's Jarrah and co, that wasn't worth reading, the BA's comments were better. JW and co are just a bunch of [rule10].

Actually I'd disagree just a bit and propose that the JREF message board has a lower percentage of stupid people than amongst the general public.
 
Hopefully *some* of this CT moon hoax crud will stop with the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, due to launch in late 2008. It is supposed to have a camera able to resolve the equipment we left behind.

Of course, there will always be the loons who will just say it is fabricated images to continue the coverup. :mad:

Unfortunately the images won't show what is there, just that something is, a little block of pixels, and of course the loons will just claim (a) NASA changed the LRO images, or (b) they secretly sent something there since 1972 to make it look like the stuff was left behind by Apollo.

Yes these forums are a haven of rationality, but that wouldn't be necessary if the rest of the world wasn't so irrational.
 
If you haven't seen Phil's photo in the Skepdude's calendar, well, Let's just say that I knew telescopes made things look bigger, but I had no idea!

yes, its true, phil owns and oil well on endor (the CTers are only half right, we never went to OUR moon, but we went to the forest moon)

i heard he uses the ewoks as slave labor though, shameful

Couldn't you see Phil on one of those cool cycles that rode in the air on Endor? Flying around redwoods, bashing into storm troopers, his hair flying in the wind... Oh wait... :boxedin:
