You also heard that she won a runner-up prize (2 grand--nothing to sneeze at!) for her project spoken about here.

To be any prouder of Kiless, I would have to be two people. But I am biased; I heard a rumour that I was officially thanked in her acceptance speech. I am here to say I did nothing at all; if anything, I impeded progress. But I look forward to Richard's further reports.

Yay Kiless! Three antipodean cheers for making a real difference!

Kiless indeed did (and continues to do) a bloody fantastic job in establishing critical thinking in education, and nobody deserves more recognition for that than her.

I'm with Merc in being proud of her. And even though I am far prettier than Kiless, I would be happy to be seen in public with her any time.
