Australian National Skeptics Convention 2013

Did you go wolli? I thought of it, but unlike TAM Oz, probably would not have known anybody who went.

It started with a focus on high-tech conferences, but I've been trying to push it to skeptics. We used it at TAM2012.

By listing all our events there, and linking up videos, we can help cross promote them. For instance, if you click on Michael Shermer under next spring's NECSS, you can see his last two TAM talks. Also, if you sign in to Lanyrd and opt in to the emails, you will be mailed when anyone you follow is booked as a speaker at an event. Cool way to find out about events you might be interested in.

It also provides event organizers a way to offer attendees a free smartphone app, a central place to find everyone's Twitter handles, and more.

Editing works like Wikipedia - crowdsourcing. But an event organizer can also "claim" their event to gain an element of control.

Arth -- You've graduated to being a MIB operative! I'm so proud of you!

And I'll get a promotion for recruiting you. We're toasting you on the Black Heli Two right now, buddy!

Actually I've come out of retirement, but I'm not supposed to tell you that. Cheers!
