Are you circumcised and do you care?

The circumcision thread prompted this poll of mine.

I'm circumcised and I don't care. Since I've never experienced sex with a foreskin I can't comment on the difference but I know two guys that were circumcised as adults and they both claim it made no difference as it regarded the act itself but the casual exposure of the penis head against clothing took quite a bit of getting used to.

Clean-cut - though I voted for Planet X because I found it funny.

Frankly, I don't give a hoot - been this way all my life. As I understand it, circumcised men last longer in the sack. Besides - I could use another inch or two removed as it is - I can't imagine if there was a FORESKIN on this monster.

I was just raised that it was 'the thing to do'. Usually with cleanliness given as an excuse. So my first couple of kids are cut, but my last two aren't - Just didn't feel like bothering with it.

Enough with the circumcision, okay?

Why do shortened penises bother you?

This reminds me of a joke: Why do Jewish women want their men circumcised? Because they want 10% off of everything.

Ugh - I didn't say it reminds me of a GOOD joke - Upon retrospection, that one sucks. And is anti-semitic, I think.

Apologies to all Jews, women, and circumcised men offended by my joke.

Not much choice in my case; born with a congenital condition known as hypospadous. (no urethral opening) back in the 40s, when I was born, it was standard practice to use the tissue as part of the reconstructive process.

No problems to date....

It seems mine was in a medical textbook in the early 70s, since they used an experimental technique... Well, at least I do have one complaint: it left a 'burnt ring' around the shaft, a permanent dark mark. I could sue, I guess, but I kinda like my mark.

Yes, I love my penis. What can I say?

Being a precocious little deviant I discovered orgasms at a rather young age. (Perhaps 2-3ish - though my earliest vivid recollection of the act was at 4.) The 'technique' employed at such an age differs to the standard male method we're all familiar with - and it'd be, I strongly suspect, utterly impossible amongst circumcised males.

So, I feel fortunate to have been spared brutal mutilation by the blade for an array of reasons. Primarily, because it permitted roughly 10 years worth of orgasms.

I wonder.. would those who believe circumcision aesthetically alluring deny themselves 10 years worth of pleasure, merely for the appearance?

[dreadful joke]

Christ, being a Jew, was circumcised as a young man. But, considering his track record, someone threw away the wrong bit.

[/dreadful joke]

For the definitive answer, check out some of the adult rooms on Paltalk.

The one kid in our junior high school that was not cut was something of a legend, and every description of him (in our adolescent ways) included the word "long".

BTW, this is probably not an appropriate "picture" thread...

My brother and I would see the old man walking around in his uncut "glory" and say "THANK JEBUS" we're cut!

A rather specialised perversion, I'm not surprised you've not had the opportunity!

By the way shouldn't the fourth poll choice be the Planet XX option? :)

With apologies to those of the female persuasion who recall that they are the default option, not us. So, please don't criticise my small joke by hitting me over the head with an embryology book.

No "I'll show you mine, if you show me yours" thread, please. :)

Winter,

Did you method involve "tickling the tip"? If so, I agree with you, but remember the experience much later -- maybe 10?

Sex education was so bad in those days, I remember that in the dark, I thought I was bleeding. Then, after discussion "behind the bikeshed", I realised that the "truth of the matter" was that I'd blown my chances for fatherhood FOREVER. But experience proved that refills were supplied :)

I along with nearly everyone I know origonally thought that your penis looked the way it looks naturally.

I did not know what circumcision was until I was about 12 or so,Up until then I thought that I was born the way I looked.

I suspect most people here in america who are under say 50 years old are circumsized, and most of them under say 30 do not even realize they actually are,and think that is how everyone naturally looks.

A bit off topic:

I recently saw a rerun of Law & Order: SVU in which an attempted rapist was murdered, and had trace amounts of saliva on his penis that matched the DNA of a teenage boy. This boy had an identical twin sister who, it turns out, was actually born a male. The "sister" was the victim of a botched circumcision, and it was the decision of the parents to raise him as a her. It also turned out that "she" was the rape victim.

Back on topic:

I am circumcised, but I'm not sure if I would want my boy(s) to be cut up. It doesn't bother me all that much that I'm without that bit of skin, but there are the horror stories that make me wonder if I would risk having the procedure done on my offspring.

My wife, on the other hand, is pro-circumcision because the thought of foreskin is "icky."

Seriously, though, aside from the current social stigma (as the internet spreads, more people are going to be aware of what being "natural" looks like), I think I'd rather still have it. I have, on learning about this, tried a few different "methods" recently that are quite um, interestingly stimulating. But of course, I don't have a choice because it was removed before I could really find out what I could do with it...

No. Merely pressure (specifically relegated to the foreskin, and assisted by body weight) combined with very slight rhythmical rocking.

Sometime within the past 12 months, spurred by caustic curiosity, I discovered this 'method' is still quite viable - perhaps to the quiet resentment of those so ruthlessly denied the opportunity..

Since those times that I've experienced the "casual exposure" have been extremely unpleasant to me, I really wonder what has happened to the sense of touch of those people who are used to it.
